In this fallen realm, things easily become blurred and confusing. We can be lied to and we can be manipulated if we don’t constantly tell our minds the TRUTH.
I remember a time in my life when God had to bring light to what I identify with. It has to do with a belief I had accepted from where I grew up. There was some type of attachment to that belief that I didn’t even know it was that bad, and it was stopping me from receiving from God. I would try to argue it out in my mind but a time came when I was done. I needed Truth. I invited God into the situation. I told him I needed help. I searched scriptures that speak to that. You know, after I made the needed adjustment in my mind. The Holy Spirit gave me understanding, and I began to understand myself from my Father’s lens. And that’s what happens when we permit the Spirit of Christ to work on us. No confusion just answers.
For whatever reason, culture tries to box us in, and the religious system also has a way of keeping us in a small place but we have to remember that we have been bought. Jesus Christ redeemed us to God.
Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group and nation. You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth. (Revelation 5: 9-10 TPT)
We have no obligation to the sinful nature.
Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. (Romans 8:12-13 NLT)
This is TRUTH!
He is our true Father, We are His beloved Children.
I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty. (2 corinthians 6:18 TPT)
Who we are and what our life is about has already been established. Everything about us including our value is hidden in Christ. We are not trying to perform or put on a show. We can be settled and at REST once we let the Holy Spirit bring to life Who God is and What He says about us.
And that’s what matters.
We shouldn’t waste so much time and energy trying to find ourselves and being worried about what people say about us. We should just pursue God instead. He wants to be known. He wants a relationship with us. We don’t become useless when we follow Jesus, we rather have a meaningful and purposeful life in Him.

When Jesus was going back to the Father, He prayed for us to experience such perfect UNITY that the world would be convinced that the Father sent him. He said the Father LOVES each one of us with the same passionate love He has for Him. Also, He said He’s given us the very GLORY that the Father gave him so that we will be joined together as ONE. (see John 17 TPT)
HE’S GIVEN US EVERYTHING!
Don’t we see that God is reaching out to us? Why can’t we relate to this?
We shouldn’t walk this broken world like we are alone. We shouldn’t insult his grace like that because we are not. We are His people His family. He’s given us His name, He’s imparted to us His authority to trample over the devil’s kingdom and as we walk in His authority nothing shall harm us.
Jesus called us His intimate and cherished friends. He’s got plans for us, He doesn’t mishandle His people. He sacrificed himself for us. He is the one who takes away our limitations. He is the one who gives His strength and might to His people. He is the one who gives us His kiss of peace. God is not angry with us, the blood of Jesus was enough.
We can YIELD to His Spirit. We can go all in and let Him have His way with us. We can say YES to him daily!

Let’s Pray, friends.
Father in Heaven, thank you for your unfailing love towards us. We ask that you give us spiritual wisdom and insight so that we may know you. We pray that the eyes of our hearts be flooded with light so that we can understand the confident hope you’ve given to those you called. We also pray that we will understand the incredible greatness of your power for us who believe in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen. (Ephesians 1:17-23)
